I ordered this in “more salt”. I had a delayed shipment with this unit. After noticing how much longer it was taking than my previous purchase I messaged Luvwin and they got back to me very quickly explaining the specific unit I ordered was out of stock. Which I understood I just wish they would have notified me after I ordered it so I wasn’t worried as to why it wasn’t shipping. But the person I spoke to was very nice and eventually the unit came. The quality of hair is great! I had 2 points I wanted to mention regarding the color. There was no distinct white money piece in front. The whole lace front was a white and light gray mix. I had to add a darker gray lowlight to top and sides to make the front stand out as lighter and more white. I also noticed the white hair had a very yellow tint to it, which came out after 1 wash with purple shampoo. Just fill the sink w water and enough purple shampoo to make the water a translucent violet and soak the unit for a few minutes then rinse. After the few adjustments i made to the color I am very happy. Again the hair is great quality. Very silky and true to length. I also had to cut and sew the cap a little smaller but that is bc I must have an unusually small head lol. The standard size is always too big lol. But she is PERFECT now. 🤍
Second Luvwin Purchase. After 3 weeks of no shipment confirmation I emailed and asked why this one was taking so much longer to ship than my last order which shipped 24 hours after purchase. I got a quick reply explaining it was out of stock and had to be made before shipping. Which was fine I just wish they had emailed to let me know that. When I first ordered it. Just so I wasn’t concerned. which I explained in my reply and got an apology. The customer service was good. The wig came 20 days after ordering. Not bad. The wig was supposed to have a noticeable white money piece in the front hairline. There was not. The entire top and front lace was a mix of mostly white . So you could not see any discernible money piece. I believe it was one of the other long salt and pepper wigs from the site that I received. The white hair itself looked blonde. The overall appearance was very yellow. I know that is common with gray hair. Especially if there is any build up. I washed the hair gently in a bath of purple shampoo and water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Which removed the yellow tones. Luckily I am a hairdresser and was able to lowlite the top and sides w a darker gray color to get a more noticeable white front. The quality of hair is great for the price point. Very soft and silky and the length is on point. I think this hair is very good for the price. I highly suggest pre-washing the hair in a purple toning shampoo to remove unwanted yellow tones. I would have given 5 stars had it been the right color pattern. Luckily for me it was an easy fix but would not have been for someone who doesn’t’ Know how to produce a believable gray color with hair dye.
